Global Warming Debate

Is Global Warming real? Well Global Warming pre-assumes that mankind’s actions are causing a heating of the atmosphere. Climate Change is simply stating that the Earth’s atmosphere is warming. Either way there is evidence that things are changing around the world and so it is an issue, which must be addressed.

The geological record of Earth and the evidence we have discovered from the surrounding Planets suggest many major changes have occurred and will occur on any planet. That includes the one we currently call home. We have noticed that it appears that Mars has gone thru severe climate changes over the last 100s of millions of years as well.

If mankind is assisting these changes to occur faster or to a greater degree as pendulum swings, well that indeed is quite problematic for the ongoing viability of the species, as well as all life on Earth. Therefore I believe that we ought to be smarter as a civilization to provide for triple redundancies in the flows of our civilizations, to prevent unnecessary disruptions, which can put our people at a severe disadvantage. For instance building cities under sea level without better systems in place maybe something we might wish to look into. We must be wise and consider such things on the road ahead, so think on this in 2006.
