One real fear that seems to be a scary notion is a rapid climate change we seem to be experiences where the glaciers are melting in some places and the planet is heating up and in other places it is freezing and gaining ice. Some believe this is a cycle, which we may not have previously considered due to the extremely long time between and the fact there are few references to such mankind’s written records. If you fear climate change and the ways this could disrupt human civilizations you are certainly not alone in those fears. Some of the most-dire predictions are horrific indeed. How so you ask?
Well some are predicting that areas of rain forest will turn to drought and areas of desert regions can become flooded. Additionally flash flooding from Super Cell Storms can occur in mild weather regions, which are not set up or prepared for such. Sudden ice storms may come and instantly freeze entire regions, killing crops and catching people, wildlife and infrastructure totally off guard.
Another prediction is large icebergs hundreds of miles along breaking free and floating into the middle of the ocean and cooling normally warm airflow and changing the trade winds or tropical airflows, which normally bring regional weather to areas which are use to it. As these icebergs melt they will change water levels and water temperatures, which is indeed, a scary thought and thus this is why a little fear in your heart of the potential problems for human life on the surface of the planet during a climate change is something that should be addressed.
