Earl Klugh Naked Guitar Smooth Jazz CD Review

From one of the pioneers and true masters of smooth jazz comes an outstanding collection of solo acoustic guitar performances.

The exceptionally talented smooth jazz artist Earl Klugh has released his latest CD entitled Naked Guitar and I'm confident and happy to announce that I believe Klugh fans, and smooth jazz fans alike will be pleased with this one.

With the release of Naked Guitar Klugh's artistic excellence is on full display throughout the entire CD with a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be his best work to date.

The CD launches with a great track, The Night Has Thousand Eyes, and from there Klugh proceeds to display why he is considered one the greatest smooth jazz artists of our time as he displays his signature smooth style throughout the CD.

Naked Guitar is the kind of CD we just don't get enough of. Simply, raw artistic talent on full display. As the name suggests, It's just Klugh and his guitar and it's excellent.

It's not the kind of release that's going to appeal to the masses because it's just not for everybody, but if you're into the simple, elegant voice of acoustic guitar in it's purest form there is no better collection than Earl Klugh's Naked Guitar.

It would be a great CD to put on as background cover for an important dinner meeting, or a soothing top down weekend cruise in the car.

While this entire CD is outstanding the truly standout tunes and favorites are The Night Has Thousand Eyes [track 1], Baubles, Bangles And Beads [track 2], and I Want To Hold Your Hand [track 11]. My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 7, Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead. Very nice!
