"Happiness is Just an Affirmation Away"
If you are like most people the thing you really want from life is happiness. Everybody wants to feel happy. If you are like most people the thing you really want from life is happiness. Everybody wants to feel happy. And why not? It is an euphoric state. I listen to a local radio station often. Two of the most popular programs on that station every week are the half-hour segments with the clairvoyant and the numerologist. When it is announced that these people are coming onto the line to give free "readings" the announcers have to keep repeating for people not to call. The switchboard always overloads with people wanting to know about their future. Well, I am dubious about what clairvoyants or numerologists are really able to offer but the one thing that never ceases to amaze me is the consistency of the requests they get. Most of the calls generally go something like this: Clairvoyant or numerologist: "What would you like to know?" Caller: "Would you please be able to tell me about my future health, wealth and happiness?" These are the three things that most people consistently ask about. Are they the three things which concern you too? Recently I made a section available on my website for affirmations. An affirmation is a positively worded reminder of something that you want. One of the most requested affirmations is... you guessed it - happiness. I have been using the following happiness
affirmation myself and I believe it really works. Here it is: HAPPINESS AFFIRMATION "A feeling of inner happiness is coursing through me. I am choosing to be happy every day no matter what circumstances I find myself in. I awaken each day with a smile on my face because I know I will be at my best when I am happy. Other people see my happiness as a sign of great strength. I smile and greet people with genuine enthusiasm. My own happiness leaves everyone I meet in a happier state. Being happy is a wonderful feeling. A feeling of inner happiness is coursing through me." If you print this affirmation onto a card and read it every day it is almost impossible not to feel happier. Try it. What have you got to lose? Happiness could be just an affirmation away for you. You can make up your own affirmations for almost any subject or you can visit the Motivation & Self Esteem for Success website at http://www.motivationselfesteem.com where you will find affirmations on subjects such as health, self-esteem, wealth, memory and others.
