In the first article we talked about creating content and how anybody can create their own content. The search engines want original content as often as they can get it. Granted, to start building up your websites it is a good idea to use articles that you may freely reprint (like this series), but for the best long-term success you want to start creating your own content. Make sure to have someone else review your content to ensure it flows smoothly. If you can't find anybody to review your work, then you can always read out loud what you wrote into a small tape recorder. Listen to how your content sounds and make sure it makes senses and flows smoothly.

Why do you think you should participate in forums that are extremely popular and active? What relevance does this have to getting targeted traffic success?
You should actively participate in popular forums for many reasons, including the fact that you people who are already interested in what you have to say in the forums will come visit your site. If you actually try to help others in the forums, then you will prosper. Now, make sure you are not one of those people who try to get their total number of posts up just because they want to look better. If you post useless junk that simply annoys other people, then you are only hurting yourself and your business.
Just the other day I was helping a fellow warrior review his sales copy. I didn't expect anything out of it. I just wanted to help him improve his sales copy and by helping him I was also educating myself. You can learn so much from what other forum members do.
Oh, did I mention that he sent me a small monetary token of appreciate for the few tips I did give?
When you aren't posting in the forums make sure to learn as much as you can from the people who have been there already. Forums are the #1 place to find expert advice on a variety of topics for free from people who have been in your shoes and know what they are talking about.
Warning: Make sure that you take all advice with a little bit of skepticism. Not everybody is an expert even though they
try to be. If you think something sounds too good to be true, then make sure to ask others about the information. Always trust your instincts when you are trying to learn in the forums.
